Co-create a collaborative game about the oral microbiome and the results of the citizen science project Stick Your Tongue Out.
Stick Your Tongue Out (Treu la llengua) is a citizen science project based on the study of the oral microbiome. Its scientific objective is to have reliable data on the diversity of microorganisms (bacteria and fungi) that live in the mouth of healthy individuals or those affected by a disease or syndrome. The first edition was developed in 2015, and had the participation of more than 3,000 people. The second edition began in 2016 and involved more than 4,000 people.
Stick Your Tongue Out also has a social goal: to democratise science. La Mandarina de Newton collaborated in the design and dynamization of a co-creation process with researchers, teachers, communicators, artists and citizens, among others, to create a collaborative game based on the scientific knowledge drawn from the research carried out as part of the project.Entregables:
